Dr Gerald Grant
Gerald Grant is Full Professor of Information Systems and Director of the Centre for Information Technology, Organizations, and People (CITOP), at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He is Principal Investigator and Co-Lead of the Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (BEKH), a national program funded by the Canadian federal government.
He obtained his PhD in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London, United Kingdom. He is co-author of the book, The Value Imperative: Harvesting Value from your IT Initiatives. Dr. Grant’s research focuses on the strategic management of digital information technology in private and public sector organizations, with particular focus on business value delivery and technology governance. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Information Technology for Development journal and most recently served as an Associate Editor of Information and Management Journal Previously, he was Senior Associate Editor of the European Journal of Information Systems and an Associate Editor of the Journal for Global Information Management.
