Regional Hubs
The Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub’s foundational design is that of a co-creative community of Black entrepreneurs, Black community organizations, academic institutions, and other supporting organizations in both the private and public sector.
The governance structure of the BEKH includes a Lead Hub, Regional Hubs, regional Black community organizations, Pan-Canadian Black community organizations, an Advisory Board, and a Research Advisory Committee.
The model is designed to prioritize regional research priorities and decisions to better reflect Black community requirements and expectations while ensuring engagement that facilitates culturally appropriate and relevant research.
